PC-Vase® SD
SAND COATED HDPE MEMBRANE
SAND COATED HDPE MEMBRANE
PC-VASE® SD Sand Coated HDPE Membrane is a unique, high performance, flexible High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sheet with pre-applied pressure sensitive adhesive and a reactive inorganic fine granule layer on it, manufactured & supplied in thickness of 1.5 mm, designed for waterproofing basements & podiums of new buildings. The membrane is designed for adhesion to poured concrete for easy application below rafts & reinforcements. Based on advanced polymer chemistry, the membrane has excellent resistance to chemical acids, bases, alkalis, salts and other corrosive materials, while providing a barrier to water seepage from below ground. The sheet remains flexible over years, maintaining its integrity and continuing to provide protection High mechanical properties of the membrane ensure superior puncture resistance and tensile strength, while enabling excellent bond along the edges.
➢ Supplied in pre-manufactured standard thickness is 1.5 mm.
➢ Excellent Adhesion with concrete placed over the membrane, to protect the structure from positive side.
➢ Low flatness requirement to substrate; reliable overlapping; fast and easy application.
➢ Continuous serviceability from -25°C to 80°C – without cracking, tearing or brittleness failure.
➢ Outstanding puncture resistance, high breaking and tearing strength, with high peel strength on overlap joints.
➢ Two side lamps make the joints more robust.
➢ Chlorine free, plasticizer free, phthalate free. Environmentally friendly and safe for humans.
➢ Excellent resistance to heat, UV and Ozone.
➢ Prevents lateral water migration and is resistance to high hydrostatic head.
➢ Flexible, fast and easy application.
➢ Resistant to high hydrostatic ground waterpressure.
➢ Resistant to aggressive ground water conditions.
➢ Eco-friendly material.
PC-VASE® SD pre-applied waterproofing membrane can be installed at temperature of -5 0C and above. Installation of membrane in cold weather application care should be taken to pre-heat the adhesive edge during overlapping by using hot air gun.
