PC Sealcoat® MP

High-performance hybrid polyurea–fluoropolymer protective coating for structures exposed to water, chemicals, corrosion, and severe weather conditions.

PC Sealcoat® MP is a high-performance hybrid polyurea–fluoropolymer liquid protective coating designed for durable protection of concrete, metal, and other compatible substrates exposed to water, chemicals, corrosion, UV radiation, and severe environmental conditions. The formulation combines the flexibility and crack-bridging characteristics of polyurea technology with the weathering and chemical-resistance characteristics associated with fluoropolymer technology. After application and curing, PC Sealcoat® MP forms a seamless, elastic, monolithic protective membrane that reduces moisture ingress and protects the substrate from environmental exposure. It is intended for industrial roofs, exposed metal structures, concrete structures, and selected marine or chemically aggressive environments, subject to project-specific suitability assessment. PC Sealcoat® MP is a cold-applied system and may be applied by brush, roller, or suitable airless spray equipment onto properly prepared substrates. High-build application may allow the specified film thickness to be achieved in one coat, provided the substrate profile, application equipment, and site conditions are suitable.

  • UV & Weather Resistance – Suitable for prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture, and temperature variation.
  • High-Build Application – Can achieve the specified dry-film thickness in a single coat where substrate and application conditions permit.

USES

PC Sealcoat® MP is suitable for protective waterproofing and corrosion-resistant coating applications on properly prepared compatible substrates, including:

  • Concrete and metal structures – Industrial buildings,factories, warehouses, roofs, storage facilities, and structural surfaces.
  • Industrial and chemical facilities – Selected storage, containment and processing areas exposed to water, salts,acids, alkalis, and other chemicals, subject to compatibility assessment.
  • Exposed roofs and structures – Surfaces exposed to UV radiation, heat, moisture, and weathering.
  • Infrastructure – Precast concrete elements, tunnels, underground structures, and selected infrastructure applications, subject to project-specific assessment.
  • Marine environments – Concrete and metal structures exposed to moisture and marine conditions, subject to system approval.
  • PU-insulated surfaces – Polyurethane insulation systems where a compatible protective coating system has been specified
