Specifically crafted for maintaining fire resistance in compartment walls and floors that require openings for service penetrations, PC-Fireshield® IW 300 swiftly expands during a fire event, effectively sealing voids and crevices to create a robust insulating layer. This process establishes a resilient fire-resistant barrier that serves to impede flames and hot gases, thereby mitigating temperature escalation on the non-fire side of the wall or floor. APPLICATION AREA

PC-Fireshield® IW 300 is comprehensively tested and independently certified in a wide range of applications where electrical and mechanical services penetrate concrete walls and floors, and gypsum drywalls.

A. CONCRETE FLOORS
When used to seal concrete floor penetrations, the material provides 90-minute and 120-minute fire resistance, maintaining insulation and integrity. It seals various penetrations like single electrical cables, PVC-U electrical conduits up to 32 mm, ABS pipes up to 32 mm, and PVC-U pipes up to 160 mm.

B. CONCRETE WALLS
When used to seal various PVC-U pipes up to 160 mm, PVC-U electrical conduits up to 32 mm, and ABS Pipes up to 36 mm, this product ensures 120 minutes of fire resistance for both insulation and integrity.

C. GYPSUM DRY WALLS
Achieving 120 minutes of fire resistance (for both Insulation and Integrity) entails sealing PVC-U electrical conduits up to 32mm in size.
