APPLICATION AREA

PC-Fire shield® B 550 is comprehensively tested and independently certified in a wide range of applications, from linear gap seals* in concrete walls and floors to service penetrations seals in concrete walls and floors and gypsum drywalls.

A. LINEAR GAP SEALS*
Seal wall gaps up to 200 mm wide and vertical joints up to 100 mm wide in concrete walls using PC-Fire shield® B 550 for 240 minutes. Additionally, seal joints up to 200 mm wide in concrete floors for 120 minutes.

B. PENETRATION SEALS
120 Mins fire resistance (Insulation & Integrity) when used to seal a wide range of services penetrating concrete walls and floors and gypsum drywalls. Single electrical cables, cable bundles, insulated steel pipes up to 152 mm diameter and copper pipes up to 108 mm diameter, loaded cable trays up to 450 mm wide.

C. PLASTIC PIPES & CONDUITS
120 Mins fire resistance (Insulation & Integrity) when used to seal a range of PVCU pipes and electrical conduits in conjunction with other PC-WC Fire Shield products (PC-Fire shield® PC 700, PC-Fire shield® S 500 Acrylic Intumescent Sealant etc.). Please refer to relevant detail drawings.
