PC-Sealcoat® SR offers an efficient solution for enhancing heat insulation and waterproofing for flat or sloped concrete and metal roofs, terraces, and walls in a range of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

SURFACE PREPARATION

To ensure the proper application and effectiveness of PC-Sealcoat® SR, it’s critical to prepare all surfaces adequately beforehand. The surface must be free of any loose particles, foreign materials, or contaminants that could impact the bond between the original substrate and the PC-Sealcoat® SR system. This can be achieved through various approved methods such as scarifying, grinding, water blasting, sandblasting, or acid washing. Additionally, any depressions or honeycomb-like patterns present on the surface should be rectified before application by utilizing repairing mortar and allowing it to set for at least 24 hours before applying PC-Sealcoat® SR.
